Repurpose existing bank building into new 3 stories, 24,000 SF dental office for children. Existing bank building consisted of basement, main floor and mezzanine. We proposed dental office will have 3 full floors and full basement. Lead MEP designer responsible for building HVAC, plumbing and fire protection system. HVAC system was designed with traditional packaged unitary systems. Plumbing design included domestic water distribution, sanitary and vent, natural gas distribution.

Provided HVAC design for a multi story commercial building. The design included split type ductless systems throughout the building with ducted fresh air ventilation system to provide code required fresh air. The entrances and staircases were provided with supplemental unit heaters for comfort air during outdoor environment exposure.

Seva Engineering provided a full HVAC design for the multi-story commercial building. A special request was made by the owners to reuse existing systems where possible and a close coordination and detailed site investigations were performed to reuse most of the existing systems in the completely renovated building.
The systems included multiple existing and new rooftop ducted systems to heat, cool and ventilate the newly proposed commercial spaces.

Seva team was retained as a lead HVAC designer for the multi story commercial building with multiple future tenant spaces. The entire design was performed on REVIT for a close coordination and accuracy.
Dedicated systems were proposed for each floor to provide a proper control for each tenant. Complex duct layouts were drawn showing ducts running in the tight spaces with coordinated shaft locations. Fire safety systems such as fire dampers, smoke detectors and fire-smoke dampers were included to meet the New York City Code.
